Database Developer Duluth
Location: Duluth, GA
We have an immediate opening for a Database Developer to assist in developing solutions for new and existing clients.
This position will be responsible for developing applications and interfaces supporting both client projects and core product enhancements. Ideal candidates will possess a thorough understanding of development methodologies, object oriented design and development methodologies, and experience developing scalable, maintainable, and secure web solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work as an individual contributor or with a team of software developers to develop database and web applications to support our client's marketing initiatives
- Participate in the development of internal and external business processes, driven by software applications
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years experience building automated online and offline database solutions as a software engineer/developer
- At least 2 years experience as a database developer (SQL Server 7, 2000, 2005). Proficiency in Structured Query Language and Transact-SQL required
- At least 2 yeras experience building SQL Server SSIS packages. Proficiency in building ETL solutions in a SQL Server environment required
- Experience building marketing databases and/or data warehouses preferred
- 2-4 years experience as a web developer (ASP 3.0, ASP .Net, C#)
- Must possess excellent professional oral and written communications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
